WeatherHawk and SpeedTech Instruments

Speedtech Instruments was acquired by WeatherHawk®, a division of Campbell Scientific, Inc.*, in July, 2010.

WeatherHawk offers a family of personal weather stations used by schools, government agencies, agriculture, industry, homeowners, resorts, and consumers in a wide variety of applications. The wind and weather meters formerly offered by Speedtech have been added to WeatherHawk's line of professional weather instruments and will benefit from WeatherHawk's excellent engineering team and worldwide distribution network.

Speedtech specialized in portable electronics, measurement and monitoring devices for over 15 years. Established in 1992 as a distributor of water flow and air/wind speed instruments, they expanded to develop and manufacture unique, patented and portable water, wind and weather instruments for consumers and professionals in the field.
